These people are really nice and eager to get our business.
And I thought the food was excellent.

Good food, ready fast and they'll make it as spicy as you can
handle. Otis is one of the most friendly servers I've ever
met and
he's quick (and spot on) with recommendations. Be sure to
try the fish sauce that looks like green salsa -- tasty stuff!
The coconut ice cream is pretty good too.

The food was pretty good despite the fact that the lights are
too bright and it looks like a 50's diner inside. The waiter
was very knowledgeable and recomended good pairings. Don't
miss the Thom Yum soup in the hot pot, it arrives at the
table with
flames pouring out of the middle of it.

It's not great, but it's pretty good. I ate in twice in one
day and among those I work with the vote was 7 out of 9 although
the caveat that it's Santa Maria was a overwhelming virtue.
Boonie
Thai Cuisine and only a few blocks from the courthouse. And
its actually Thai style not the bland Chinese masquerading
as Thai, the spices were all there and it's not a per diem
buster, even tastier as crew food (kindly producer with expense
account
needed). The pahd thai and panang curry were both not bad
and they have lunch specials also...
At 618 main street just a few blocks from the courthouse
and worth trying, not great but good and in Santa Maria that's
exceptional.
