chops (medium rare) was fantastic. The portions are
huge and priced right. The little Spencer is the
popular item but anything you order will be great.
Wood fired grills are the key and a noticeable
difference to the other meat huts in town. I went
with the orange sherbet at the end of the meal instead
of the vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. The
price of the meal includes this little
palate-cleanser. Best steak in the area? This may be the best steak I've ever
eaten. The
atmosphere isn't much, sort of cafeteria like, but the cut
and preparation
of steak was unbelievable. I had the Little Spencer, which
is a 14 oz.
ribeye; the Big Spencer is 18 oz. This is head and shoulders
above Shaw's
or any other steak place around here, I think. French fries
were tasty,
too, and the meal comes with your choice of ice cream at
the end. Perhaps the best steak in the area. Try the Spencer or
if you would like something lighter on the wallet, the Stall
Barbeque is a great choice. Don’t be surprised if
you have a 2 hr wait without reservations... 1/2 hr
with reservations.
Jockos also serves a great breakfast if you are here on the
weekends. |
